The AMA’s IT dept have just started on it so there is not much information there yet, but that will be the place to go for the official information.

The following announcement pertains to a change in the deadlines for payment of entry fees of the 2019 World Championships.

The dead lines for payment of entry fees has been revised as follows:

Entry fees received by March 1, 2019, will receive a 15% discount.
Entry fees received by April 1, 2019, will receive a 5% discount.
All entry fees are due by July 31, 2019.
Any payment made after July 31, 2019 will incur a 10% surcharge.
No entry fees will be accepted after August 31, 2019, unless for exceptional circumstances and the agreement of the organizer.

On the AMA World Champs Web site there are pre-entry forms for the 2 World Cup events Sierra Cup and Kotuku Cup and associated mini events. This includes the F1E events to be held on Holloway Hill. All contestants, International and USA should pre-enter using those forms. Some entry for these events on the field will be possible BUT there will be a large number of participants, typically at World Cup events associated with a World Champs there are over 100 participants in the F1A and F1B classes with a goodly number in F1C and F1Q so if you try to enter on the field you may have trouble getting your first round flight in. The CDs of the event Mike Mc Keever and Brian van Nest will be at Lost Hills early in the week way before the events

The organizers will issue both AMA affiliate license and Lost Hills Association membership for the month of October only at no additional cost. This is for both World Champs team members and any one traveling with the international group.

It is only necessary to pay the entry fees for the competitions.

There is a third World Cup Event in Nevada after the World Champs. There is information about this on the AMA web site. You should pre-enter this event by emailing the organizer. The contact information is on the web site.

We have been informed that some individuals are having issues registering for the World Cup Events, the Sierra Cup and the Kotuku Cup, in October at Lost Hills. This is most likely individuals not affiliated with a team attending the World Championships. For those of you who have already registered you are not required to register again and can ignore this message.

We have created a simple on-line entry form to assist in this process. Please use the following links for each contest. There are several fields that are required. Payment for the events is not required at this time. You may pay the entry fees at the field up to one day prior to the event. No online entries will be accepted after September 20, 2019 and no "on the field" entries will be accepted the day of the competition.

Golf Cart Rental for World Champs/World Cups

Note from Mike McKeever (on the World Champs organizing committee)

I'm a little surprised that we have not had more teams requesting a golf cart. The easily haul equipment for those times a line change is required and are useful chase vehicles when a motorcycle is not available. Unfortunately, you can't wait to the last minute as our supplier needs to know how many carts will be required by October first. If you are interested, please contact Mike McKeever at vamckeever@aol.com to make your reservations prior to October 1st.

Editors comment – You cannot use your car for retrieval. The are places off the roads where regular road vehicles cannot be driven. Golf carts provide the rest and safest retrieval options. Remember temp could exceed 35C. For a person who is does not have off road bike experience a golf card is th best answer

The original notice

Golf cart rentals from All Cart in Bakersfield will be available for rental at the field prior to the Sierra Cup beginning October 10 including the World Championships and finally Kotuku Cup ending on October 24.

We have been given an opportunity to rent these carts at a substantial cost reduction as long as we meet a minimal number of cart rentals.

The carts will be rented on a reserve basis with payment due on delivery on a date before the events.

The carts are available for $50/day. There are 2 person carts, 4 person carts and a cart with a cargo box on the back. These carts would be a great way to move people and equipment around the field as well as for a potential chase vehicle, subject to field rules involving the orchards.

We need to know how many carts should be reserved. We would like to have teams or individuals advise as soon as possible who wants a cart(s) and for which days.
There are a limited number of carts available and reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis up to the limit of carts available. We are advised roughly 20 carts will be available.

Please contact Mike McKeever, vamckeever@aol.com, to reserve your cart. He will secure your reservation and ensure your cart is available when you want it. It is unlikely carts will be available to rent on the field on a day of contest basis so reservations are encouraged. Any questions please feel free to contact Mike.
